Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

RECORD-BREAKING FEBRUARY SALES FOR SUBARU CANADA
3 March, 2009

(MISSISSAUGA) - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is excited to announce a best-ever sales record for the month of February. Total vehicle sales were up 8.1 percent over last February. During what's typically the slowest month of the year, this outstanding sales performance sets a new record as the best February in the company's history.

Sales of the all-new 2009 Subaru Forester also set an all-time February sales record, with Forester sales climbing to a 281.8 percent increase over the same month last year. Sales of the 2009 Impreza were also strong, up by 21.2 percent from last February.

Recently, Subaru placed first in two segments of the first-ever ALG 2009 Canadian Residual Value Awards: Impreza won the Mid-Compact Car category, and the Impreza WRX/STI won the Sporty Car category. The award honours the vehicle in each segment with the highest overall predicted resale value.

"Subaru owners understand that our vehicles offer phenomenal value with the unique combination of industry-leading safety, performance and the legendary Subaru symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive system," said Katsuhiro Yokoyama, president and CEO of SCI. "This combination of attributes makes Subaru an attractive choice in this challenging economic climate."

Subaru Canada, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. of Japan. Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, the company markets and distributes Subaru vehicles, parts and accessories through a network of 89 authorized dealers across Canada.
