Features & Benefits

Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary with driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition and road condition. In non-ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See owner’s manual for details.

Integrated safety, inherent confidence

Subaru safety is built on two things: stability you can feel and systems that support the driver without getting in the way. The Subaru Trailseeker brings that philosophy into the all-electric era with the rigid e-Subaru Global Platform and the inherent balance of Symmetrical Full-Time AWD. Dual-function X-MODEadds traction when conditions deteriorate, while EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology helps monitor traffic and reduce workload. Standard Safe Exit Assist and available surround-view visibility add confidence in the moments before and after you drive.

Continuous monitoring, decisive intervention

The active safety systems are designed to anticipate real-world situations—merging traffic, sudden slowdowns, slick roads and busy parking lots. Symmetrical Full-Time AWD works with stability and traction controls to help keep the vehicle composed when grip is limited. Driver Assist Technology adds intelligence to every drive, detecting hazards, adjusting throttle or braking, and providing gentle steering support to help you remain centred, secure and fully in control.

EyeSight Disclaimer

EyeSight Driver Assistance Technologies may not operate optimally under all driving conditions. The driver is always responsible for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on factors such as vehicle maintenance, weather, and road conditions. See the Owner’s Manual for complete details.

Optimized visibility, informed control

The Trailseeker is designed so the driver can see more, sooner. A low cowl, carefully shaped pillars and a generous glass area help create an open cabin with fewer blind spots. Large door-mounted mirrors improve rearward sightlines and the available Panoramic View Monitor adds a bird’s-eye perspective when parking or manoeuvring in tight spaces. Better visibility reduces stress—and supports safer decisions in every season.

Rearview Camera with Washer

The standard rearview camera displays a clear, high-resolution image on the centre screen to make reversing more precise. Dynamic guidelines respond to steering input, helping you judge the path and the distance in tight areas. A built-in washer helps keep the camera lens clear of road spray, slush and mud—an essential feature for Canadian winter driving, where visibility can change quickly and without warning.

Panoramic View Monitor

Available on Limited and Premier trim levels, the Panoramic View Monitor uses multiple exterior cameras to create a near-360° view around the vehicle. The top-down perspective makes it easier to place the Trailseeker accurately when parking, navigating tight driveways or edging past obstacles. By improving awareness at low speeds, it supports safer manoeuvring in crowded areas—especially when visibility is reduced by snowbanks, rain or darkness.

EyeSight Driver Assistance Technology

EyeSight Driver Assist Technology (opens in a new window) is designed to help the driver stay aware and respond earlier. Using radar-based detection and control software with some camera-assisted functionality, the system can recognize potential hazards and provide alerts, braking support and steering assistance in certain situations. Features include pre-collision support, lane departure alerts with prevention, adaptive cruise control and emergency driving functions. While it is not a substitute for attentive driving, it is an extra layer of support built for real traffic and real weather.

Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Blind Spot Monitor uses radar sensors to help detect vehicles that can be difficult to see beside you, with warnings displayed in the mirror area. Rear Cross Traffic Alert(opens in a new window) adds extra awareness when backing out of parking spaces by warning of approaching traffic from either side. Together, they help reduce the stress of lane changes and tight parking lots, exactly where many everyday collisions start.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

Safe Exit Assist helps protect occupants when the vehicle is stopped. If a vehicle or cyclist is approaching from behind, the system can provide visual and audible warnings to discourage opening a door into traffic. It’s a simple idea with real value, especially in urban areas, school zones or busy parking lots, where awareness matters as much after the drive ends.

Parking Support Braking

Parking Support Braking (PKSB) uses sensors to detect nearby obstacles when manoeuvring at low speeds. If a potential collision is detected, the system provides audible and visual warnings. If the driver doesn’t respond in time, the system can apply braking to help avoid or reduce impact. It’s practical reassurance in tight garages, narrow parking stalls and winter conditions, when depth perception and traction can be compromised.

LED Headlights with High Beam Assist

Standard on every trim level, these LED headlights are designed for consistent, wide illumination, helping you read the road earlier and with more clarity. High Beam Assist automatically switches between high and low beams when traffic is detected, helping maintain visibility without blinding other drivers. It’s a smart lighting system that supports safer night driving, especially on rural highways where wildlife, weather and darkness arrive without notice.

Braking System

The braking system on the Trailseeker is engineered for smooth, controlled stops in changing conditions. Electronic Brake-Force Distribution helps balance braking pressure based on load, while Brake Assist can increase stopping force during emergency braking. Brake Override helps reduce unintended acceleration by prioritizing braking input, while Auto Vehicle Hold adds everyday convenience by holding the vehicle at stops or on hills without requiring constant pedal pressure. The braking system also features regenerative capabilities to recapture energy during deceleration and improve overall efficiency.

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)

Vehicle Stability Control(opens in a new window) monitors steering input, wheel speed and vehicle motion to help keep the vehicle on track as intended. When traction is limited, VSC can adjust torque delivery and apply selective braking to support stability. Active Cornering Assist adds subtle inside-wheel braking to help the vehicle rotate more naturally through turns. It’s composed, confidence-building control, especially valuable on wet pavement, packed snow or uneven surfaces.

Protection engineered across all layers

Passive safety on the all-new Trailseeker starts with a strong foundation. The e-Subaru Global Platform(opens in a new window) is designed to absorb and redirect crash energy away from occupants and the battery pack through engineered load paths and reinforced structures. High rigidity helps the vehicle maintain integrity during collisions, while carefully managed deformation zones help reduce forces transmitted to the cabin. It’s Subaru safety engineering: not just strong on paper, but designed for real-world scenarios.

Advanced Ring-shaped Reinforcement Frame

The proprietary Ring-shaped Reinforcement Frame(opens in a new window) helps form a continuous protective structure around the passenger cabin. In a collision, this design helps distribute energy through multiple pathways rather than concentrating it in one area. Reinforcements in the floor structure add further protection for the battery pack, supporting impact resistance from below and helping guard against intrusion during side impacts or severe road debris events.
