Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

4 August, 2016

  • Momentum builds towards a new annual sales record with 28,125 units retailed to date in 2016.

  • Record-breaking July for Crosstrek, Outback and WRX STI line.

(MISSISSAUGA) — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced record-breaking July sales with 4,210 units retailed in July, an increase of 4.1 percent. Subaru Canada’s year-to-date sales are up 2.2 percent with 28,125 units sold during the first seven months of 2016, representing the Japanese automaker’s highest year-to-date results ever. Heading into the second half of 2016 with milestone year-to-date results puts Subaru Canada in a good position to achieve its fifth consecutive annual sales record.

Subaru’s compact crossover, the Crosstrek, enjoyed sales growth of 6.5 percent with 840 units sold this past July. The Outback, Subaru’s SUV alternative, moved 964 units to propel sales with a skyrocketing increase of 40.5 percent this month over the same period last July. Subaru’s performance sedan, the WRX STI, celebrated its best July ever with 404 of the turbocharged rally icons retailed, an impressive increase of 30.7 percent.

“Subaru Canada is steadily working towards its fifth consecutive annual sales record,” says Shiro Ohta, chairman, president and CEO of Subaru Canada, Inc. “Our fundamental approach of product-focused selling and strong dealership network attract more and more Canadians to the brand. With brand new product on an all-new platform launching late this fall, Subaru is set to achieve unprecedented sales success.”
