Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. Impressive Performance from Subaru at Pacific Forest Rally
6 October, 2016

  • Subaru Rally Team Canada soars to the top of the podium, with a total of six Subaru vehicles finishing in the top ten

  • Subaru is now comfortably in the lead for the Manufacturer’s title with two rallies to go

(MISSISSAUGA) — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce a dominant performance by Subaru Rally Team Canada (SRTC) driver Antoine L'Estage and co-driver Darren Garrod in the Pacific Forest Rally.  In a truly impressive showing the team won every stage on their way to the overall victory, finishing ahead of the second place team by over seven minutes.  Persevering despite some setbacks in the first half of the season, they are now trailing by only one point in the hotly contested race for the driver’s championship title.

“This victory was really important for the whole team,” said L’Estage following SRTC’s convincing win.
“We had some challenges earlier this year, but now we are in a good position in the championship. The work’s not done, we still have two events to go, but I know the Rally of the Tall Pines really well, and with Big White on the calendar, I really like snow rallies, sothat will be a good event.”

2017 Pacific Forest Rally

Pacific Forest proved to be a prolific event for multiple Subaru teams, with three finishing in the top four.  This included a remarkable performance from Derik Nelson and Adam Newell in their 2013 BRZ.  Although the vehicle is RWD as opposed to AWD like most rally cars, they managed to power their way to an impressive third-place finish.

These strong results helped to extend Subaru’s lead in the manufacturer’s championship, opening up a commanding grasp on the title with only two rallies left in the season.

As the season draws nearer to a close the team is looking ahead to the second-last rally of the season, Rally of the Tall Pines in Bancroft, On November 25-26.
