Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

Subaru VIZIV-7 SUV Concept Makes Canadian Debut at 2017 Canadian International Auto Show, Joined by 2017 BRZ 稲妻 Inazuma Edition and Next Generation Impreza
13 February, 2017

(MISSISSAUGA) - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce the unveiling of the VIZIV-7 SUV Concept at the 2017 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, as well as the display of the 2017 BRZ 稲妻 Inazuma Edition and the next-generation Impreza.

With a name derived from Vision for Innovation, the VIZIV-7 is a concept series that embodies enjoyment and peace of mind, while allowing a glimpse into Subaru’s future, particularly around how big a future SUV from Subaru can be.

Subaru knows that customers in this segment want a bigger vehicle. The VIZIV-7 SUV Concept is an all-new midsize SUV that continues to express our core values of safety, dependability, capability for outdoor activities and a forward-looking attitude.

But with full three-row capability and Subaru’s DYNAMIC and SOLID design philosophy, the VIZIV-7 SUV concept shows the size direction of future SUVs that will be introduced in Canada in 2018.

The 2017 BRZ 稲妻 Inazuma Edition will also be displayed at a Canadian auto show for the very first time. This limited volume sports coupe is named after the Japanese word for lightning, a perfect description of its capabilities. With a custom look matched by several exclusive performance upgrades (SACHS performance dampers, Brembo brakes), the BRZ 稲妻 Inazuma Edition will be sure to turn heads.

Finally, by displaying the next-generation Impreza on the Canadian auto show circuit, everyone at the auto show will have the chance to learn more about the all-new Subaru global platform that provides next-level safety combined with the dynamic performance and a fun-to-drive spirit for which the model has always been known.

Starting in 2018, an all-new three-row midsize SUV will be produced at the Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) plant in Lafayette, Indiana, bringing the number of models produced at that plant to four, together with the Legacy, Outback and the new Impreza compact sedan and 5-door model built on the Subaru global platform.
