Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. Subaru Canada: Highest September Sales on Record; Unprecedented Sales for All-New 2018 Crosstrek
4 October, 2017

  • Third best month ever with 5,139 units retailed

  • Sales up 11.5 percent over last September

  • September’s volume leader, the all-new Crosstrek, enjoys increase of 63.6 percent, retailing 1,479 units for its single highest month of sales ever

(MISSISSAUGA) — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) welcomes fall with a sharp uptick in sales, setting a new milestone for September sales with results up 11.5 percent and 5,139 units retailed. The end of the third quarter also marked the Japanese automaker’s third highest month of sales ever. Exuberant year-to-date sales of 40,976 units put Subaru in an optimal position to overtake 2016’s annual sales record of 50,190 units.

It was a record-breaking September nationwide and the highest sales ever in Ontario. The western region was up 14.2 percent, Ontario rose 11.7 percent, Quebec increased 9.6 percent and the Atlantic region was 8.5 percent above last September.

Subaru’s small crossover, the Crosstrek, significantly bolstered sales, celebrating its best month ever with results up 63.6 percent and 1,479 units retailed over the same period last year. Impreza sales also rose in September with a record 965 units retailed, an increase of 41.7% over last September. Subaru’s performance sedans, the WRX and WRX STI, enjoyed a record-breaking month with 431 units sold, an increase of 18.1 percent.

“Subaru’s incredibly strong sales momentum can be credited to our strong dealer network and enticing product offering,” said Yasushi Enami, chairman, president and CEO of Subaru Canada, Inc. “As an appealing alternative to mainstream brands, Subaru offers an unbeatable combination of world-class safety, performance, reliability, and versatility to enable adventure and active lifestyles. These core values appeal to more and more Canadians.”
