Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. Subaru Canada: Pricing Announced for Value-Packed 2019 Crosstrek
9 July, 2018

  • Starting price of $23,695 unchanged from last year, representing outstanding value in the compact SUV segment.

  • Infotainment software updated for smoother, more fluid operation.

(MISSISSAUGA, ONT.)—Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced pricing on the award-winning 2019 Crosstrek, which goes on sale across Canada this month.

A key driver of the brand’s record-setting sales pace, the second-generation Crosstrek combines outstanding levels of value, comfort and safety in a rugged-looking package. For 2019, the Crosstrek continues to offer the passive, active and preventative safety systems that enabled it to receive the Top Safety Pick+ (TSP+) designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) — the highest safety rating possible.

Built on the Subaru Global Platform (SGP), the Crosstrek embodies the performance, dependability and safety the brand is renowned for, while offering the versatility to excel in both off-road and city driving, another Subaru staple.

With a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine under the hood paired with the choice of six-speed manual or Lineartronic CVT transmissions, the Crosstrek truly is up for it, working with Subaru’s legendary symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive system and a top-grade suspension system to offer supreme confidence and comfort no matter the surface or conditions.

Standard equipment on all Crosstrek models includes a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with updated software for 2019, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows with auto up/down on both driver and passenger sides, 60/40-split fold-down rear seats, power door locks, and power side mirrors.

Also included are an aluminum hood, a roofline spoiler with integrated brake lamp, multi-function display with fuel economy information, tilt and telescoping steering column, torque vectoring, 17-inch machined finish alloy wheels, integrated roof rails, carpeted floor mats, and privacy glass on the rear windows.

The Touring trim adds features including heated front seats, premium cloth upholstery, automatic climate control, automatic headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a cargo-area privacy cover.

The Sport trim includes LED steering-responsive headlights, a power sunroof, a power driver’s seat, aluminum pedals, premium sport cloth upholstery, dual USB ports, an eight-inch infotainment system with a single disc CD player and SiriusXM satellite radio, and enhanced safety through the Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection (SRVD) system with Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

The top-of-the-line Limited trim, meanwhile, comes fully equipped, and also includes 18-inch alloy wheels, leather seating, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a premium Harman Kardon eight-speaker audio system, and an eight-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation.

The Crosstrek also offers an unmatched level of safety, with Subaru’s EyeSight driver assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking and lane departure and sway warning, as well as lane-keep assist, among others, available on Sport and Limited trims.

New for 2019 is Subaru’s Dark Blue Pearl exterior colour, which is available on the Touring, Sport and Limited trims.
