Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. SUBARU CANADA: BEST PANDEMIC RESPONSE BY A BRAND AWARDED BY CADA
4 February, 2021

  • Subaru Canada achieves first place overall in CADA Dealer Satisfaction Index Survey for the eighth consecutive year

  • CADA awards Subaru Canada Highest Overall Satisfaction, Most Effective Manufacturer / Dealer Communications, Best Pandemic Response Awards

(MISSISSAUGA, ONT.)— Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce that the CADA (Canadian Automotive Dealer Association) has awarded Subaru Canada in three categories, Best Pandemic Response, Highest Overall Satisfaction and Most Effective Manufacturer / Dealer Communications. This is the eighth consecutive year that Subaru Canada has achieved first-place finishes – an unprecedented achievement unmatched by other manufacturers as no other manufacturer has garnered consecutive first-place finishes.

The awards are presented in three categories: Highest Overall Satisfaction, Most Effective Manufacturer/Dealer Communications, and Most Improved Overall Satisfaction. The categories are separated into two groups to acknowledge companies with dealer bodies of 100 or fewer and 101 and more.

For the eighth consecutive year, Subaru received the Highest Overall Satisfaction Award and the Most Effective Manufacturer/Dealer Communications Award for companies with fewer than 100 dealers.

This year the CADA introduced a new award, COVID-19 Pandemic Response Excellence, which was received by Subaru Canada. During the pandemic, Subaru Canada and its dealer network continued to work together as one team, making changes quickly during unprecedented times, to positively affect advertising as well as introducing programs to help support our dealers and our communities.

Subaru Canada representatives Yasushi Enami, President, Chairman and CEO and Don Durst, Senior Vice-President, accepted the awards virtually on behalf of Subaru Canada.

“The automotive industry, among many others, faced a very challenging year with resiliency and determination,” explained SCI chairman, president and CEO, Yasushi Enami. “Congratulations to our staff, dealer network and partners who united as one.”

“In a particularly challenging year for dealers and our country as a whole, we are pleased to see such high interest in the Dealer Satisfaction Index survey,” said Tim Reuss, President and CEO at CADA. “This clearly demonstrates the support from dealers and brands for this benchmark industry survey and allows us to see how dealers and manufacturers can continue to improve their work together throughout the pandemic and as we move into economic recovery in 2021.”
